Guideline on the Use of Art in Symbolic Reparations

Guideline on the Use of Art in Symbolic Reparations

The SRRP “Guidelines on the Use of Art in Symbolic Reparations” aim to support human rights commissions, courts and other organizations in conceptualizing symbolic reparations as a means of addressing both measures of satisfaction for victims and guarantees of non-repetition for society at large. Please see the “Case Studies” section of this website for concrete examples of memorialization practices. The SRRP Guidelines are a work in progress; we welcome comments.
